The Ollis Hope C2 Brake Service Kit has been assembled for the complete overhaul and restoration of a Hope Model C2 hydraulic disc brake.

The Hope C2 is one of the iconic high-end mountain bike disc brakes of the 1990s and was fitted to premium bicycles, including Porsche FS Evolution models. After long storage or extensive use, aged seals, sticky pistons, old brake fluid and worn brake pads can lead to leakage, an inconsistent lever feel or reduced braking performance.

This kit contains the key consumables and service parts needed for a comprehensive brake rebuild: seal kits for both the caliper and brake lever, DOT brake fluid for refilling, DOT-compatible assembly grease for seals and moving parts, a syringe with hose for bleeding, and one pair of replacement brake pads.

• After servicing, inspect the brake for leaks, correct piston movement and a firm lever feel. Test the brake carefully at low speed before normal use.
